Welcome to my website!

Step into the world of a first-generation Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, USA.  With a Ph.D. in Economics from Colorado State University (USA), an MSc in Economics from Umeå University (Sweden), an MBA from Copperbelt University (Zambia), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Zambia, I bring an exciting set of ideas to the table.

My research focuses on International Economic Development, Child Poverty & Inequality, Education, Economic Growth, and Taxation. My Ph.D. dissertation investigated the link between access to services and later life outcomes, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The aim was to obtain important insights for posterity. I'm excited to start on new research projects, deep-diving into three themes: expanding my ongoing development projects to exploring growth, international and monetary economics in African countries, and understanding the dynamic realm of health economics.

When I'm not immersed in academia, I cherish quality time traveling the world with my lovely wife, Michelo. I find solace in the adrenaline of motorsport or basketball, the game theoretic moves of chess, the wisdom within books, and i love cooking.
